Chapter One

What is a story?...........

We all know what a story is, in the literal sense. We probably hear hundreds in our lifetime, but what makes that one out of a hundred remain in our mind that erupts something deep inside us. This is a question, I constantly ask myself when making and viewing work, and sometimes I never have an answer to it, for me I believe it was that moment in a piece that emotionally pulled me in, that I could relate too, when I made a connection with someone I don’t know, that I wasn’t alone. I don’t write about one subject, I have dreamt of telling stories in whatever shape that may be, everywhere you look there’s a story, it may start with my influence and interests but in the end, I am just the person starting the engine.
